As part of the marketing team, you will be targeting any business that needs a solution to hire and payroll workers in new markets to build their business, with one of the key types of clients being recruitment agencies.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our rebrand strategy to build a global brand together. You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality optimised blogs and service pages on our website, transferring and refreshing webpages, and forming engaging copy across a wide range of channels for our teams.

About Us
You'll be joining a close, supportive, and high-performing team. We meet daily to discuss our tasks and offer guidance.
Your role will be predominately focused on conducting in-depth market research to form SEO-optimised content for our website to generate leads.
Along the way, you'll learn from our other team member's marketing expertise, with the chance to gain exposure to all functions with marketing and enhance your skills through training sessions.
What you’ll be Doing in our Marketing Team
Key Content/SEO Executive Tasks
- Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy tailored to our target audience’s pain points and needs. This will be for a variety of media including blogs, email, social, webpages, and sales assets.
- Editing and proofing work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Updating and curating content on Workwell Global’s website, with a focus on SEO strategies to drive organic traffic. A key project will be contributing to a vital website content transfer project. Ensuring all content is SEO optimised and rewritten in Workwell Global’s tone of voice.
- Developing and implementing SEO strategies – Including on-page content optimisation, building high-quality backlinks, and site audits.
- Conducting regular keyword research for ongoing website optimisation and responding to, and writing about new topics.
- Analysing website performance on Google Analytics regularly to identify opportunities and guide ideas to drive traffic and conversions.
- Analysing market research reports and keeping up with employment trends to identify key opportunities for our target audience and form into branded reports and blogs.
- Conducting in-depth competitor analysis
- Assisting in forming the copy for our marketing campaigns tailored to our target audience. The majority will be email marketing to leads in the pipeline, along with LinkedIn organic and paid ad campaigns.

Experience Required
- A minimum of three years experience in a marketing position focused on copywriting with a proven track record of success.
- Proven SEO experience, researching and optimising webpages with keywords and backlinks.
- Strong written communication skills with experience forming optimised articles for companies to drive organic traffic. You must be able to convey key messages and complex information clearly and concisely to speak to our target audience.
- Conducting research forms a big part of this role. Our articles cover technical subjects so experience in research and scrutinising data sources is essential.
- Attention to detail is also essential to update technical articles with new information and keywords as part of our website transfer project.
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Experience in using Content Management Systems such as WordPress is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen and willingness to learn about the global staffing and employment markets are a must to create successful content in this role.
- A data-driven mindset with previous experience analysing website data and coming up with solutions to drive brand awareness and leads.
- Self-motivated and highly driven, with the ability to work independently.

- Based in Liverpool for hybrid in-person working (3 days per week is required in the office)

Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of core areas in marketing such as content creation, email marketing, paid advertising.
- Experience using design tools such as Canva to create graphics and reports.
- Experience working with recruitment agencies or within the employment/HR sector
- Experience working on digital lead generation campaigns.

Exposure to Other Key Functions in Marketing
As a specialised member of our marketing team, your key tasks will be copywriting related. However, you may be required to dip into other marketing functions based on monthly priorities and if any of our team members require extra support for the projects within their function.
This is a great opportunity to broaden your marketing skillset and learn from other experts.
For example, our team have organised major events in the past. Such as, planning, designing and coordinating an exhibition stand at The EXCEL centre in London.
Another standout marketing project included organising a live podcast at LinkedIn’s HQ in London. Our team pull together for larger projects to ensure every part of the marketing mix runs smoothly and they gain the experience they want to enhance their career.
