Gender Pay Gap Report
From 2017, any organisation that has 250 or more employees must publish and report specific figures about their gender pay gap.
The gender pay gap is the difference between the average earnings of men and women, expressed relative to men’s earnings. For example, ‘women earn 15% less than men per hour’.
Employers must both:
- publish their gender pay gap data and a written statement on their public-facing website
- report their data to the government online – using the gender pay gap reporting service.
If an employer has fewer than 250 employees, it can publish and report voluntarily but is not obliged to do so.
Workwell Global is a subsidiary of the Workwell Group. The following data represents the Workwell Group:

Written Statement
JSA Services Limited t/a Workwell Solutions provides limited company, umbrella, and payroll services to recruitment agencies, contractors, and temporary workers across a range of industry sectors.
Established in 1989, our business is compliance-led with a strong customer-centric and technology-driven approach to delivering our services. We operate in a highly regulated environment and absolute compliance with tax regulation and employment law is at the heart of our offering.
This report includes those freelancers that choose to work on a flexible basis as an employee of a Workwell Group business, such that they are employed by us to work on numerous different assignments for agencies and end clients, all under the one employment with us. All umbrella employees receive a basic salary equivalent to the NMW for each hour that they work, and a bonus, this being the difference between NMW and the fee charged to the agency after considering our costs. This fee is generally set by the recruitment agency and not the umbrella business, meaning umbrella companies often have very little control over the charge rate.
I confirm that this Gender Pay Gap report is true and accurate.
